Keith is a recognized industry expert who supports academic health centers and institutions of higher education in developing complex but actionable solutions to stay ahead of the changing industry environment. As a leader of ECG’s Academic Healthcare practice, Keith partners with leading research organizations as they embark on transformational initiatives, from identifying their strategy to operationalizing their solutions. Having served academic organizations for more than 20 years, he has a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by academic medical centers (AMCs) as they navigate the transition to lower cost structures across the tripartite mission.
Working with top AMCs and research organizations, Keith has led full-scale transformation initiatives of multiple domestic and international organizations, focused on administrative improvement, strategic development, mission alignment, acquisition strategy, systems improvement, and cost takeout. He has also conducted due diligence and performed integration management for multiple AMC mergers, and enhanced multiple research operations and administrative functions within universities and health systems.
